This is a project based on everything that is the ordinary.
What is ordinary? When thinking about how to approach this project I started thinking about all the things that we take for granted. All the little things that are everywhere, and yet insignificant. Something ordinary is essentially something we encounter everyday but don't stop to think twice about.
I started thinking about things we leave behind, something so small and so irrelevant that we simply dismiss it and move on. Regardless, these things still exist. In fact, these things are everywhere! You sharpen a pencil, you discard the shavings. Something as small and as ordinary as pencil sharpenings could actually be something rather extraordinary. You make a sandwich and don't even think twice about the crumbs - however big or small. All these things with so little relevance deserve a little bit of consideration. This is all about the little things which the eye may choose not to see.
